New Research Launch: Project Management Skills for Value Delivery
January is the time to set aspirational goals. Let's get started!
Several years ago we changed the timing of our research study launches to January, because this is the time of year when aspirations run high, both on the personal side (exercise daily!) and the organizational (transform our company!) This year's research topic feel especially apt: Project Management Skills for Value Delivery reflects the changing roles of project and program managers within organizations, focusing on the skills required to transform organizations, realize benefits, manage strategic initiatives, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Project Management Skills for Value Delivery is designed to help us understand the current skill levels of those engaged in project management in your organization as well as trends that will lead to improved training and development, improved project management performance, and greater organizational success. Skills are based on PMI’s Talent Triangle, PMBOK® Guide Seventh Edition, and The Standard for Project Management, as well as on the field research provided by our consulting and training staffs. By sharing your experience, you contribute to a report that will help you:
- Benchmark your organization's project management skill levels against others
- Build your business case to strengthen your training and development efforts
Participants in the study receive complete survey results, an advance copy of the report, and an exclusive invitation to a webinar with research findings. There are also opportunities to be interviewed for follow-on qualitative research into specific areas of the study.
FAQ:
- Deadline for submission is February 10, 2023.
- Takes only 15 minutes to complete.
- All data will be held strictly confidential, including interview content for those who elect to be interviewed during the qualitative follow-up portion of this study (unless the interviewee specifically gives permission for his/her name to be used).
- The word "project" stands for both projects and programs.
