New PMO Research Study: Chime In Now
Just a quick note: we are updating our 2008 State of the PMO research this month. The new survey questionnaire is available online through Friday, April 9: Click here to take The State of the PMO 2010 now!
If you have a vested interest in the success of your organization's Project/Program Management Office (PMO), we invite you to participate. We are looking for the answers to questions like: What is the annual budget of your PMO? What functions are performed by your PMO? How large is your PMO staff? What are the primary challenges facing your PMO? What value does the PMO add to your organization? What are your PMO's priorities for the next 12 months? These and other significant issues are addressed in this survey.
Survey results will contain benchmarks and best practices on:
- PMO Size, Scope, Complexity
- PMO Services
- PMO Staffing and Project Managers
- Challenges and Critical Success Factors
- PMO Performance and Maturity
- Organizational Performance and Value
- PMO and Organizational Priorities
Respondents who complete the full survey will receive a copy of the complete research report containing key findings and observations as well as a compilation of all supporting research data collected: definitely worth 15 minutes of your time. All survey data is confidential (no company names are identified in the results or report).
The executive summary of the 2008 report is available here, if you'd like to get a taste of the types of observations and benchmarks that will be included.
Let all your PMO colleagues and contacts know about the survey! Naturally we are seeking the largest possible pool of responses to validate our findings.
And ... Happy Easter!
